Application Deadline: Friday, February 2, 2024

 

The lottery will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 4:00 PM, and notification will be sent by February 28, 2024.

To enter the lottery, students must submit an application before the deadline, and they must be eligible for the grade they are applying for, and be Baltimore City residents.

 The application for the 2024-2025 school year is listed below. We are accepting applications for students entering grades Kindergarten and First Grade.

 

For the 2024-2025 school year, Kindergarten students must turn five by September 1, 2024, and First Grade students must turn six by September 1, 2024. Students whose birthdays fall between September 2 and October 15 may be eligible to apply for early admission. More information about this process will be available in the spring.

This application is only for BIA East, located at 4410 Frankfort Ave NE, Baltimore City.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​As a public charter school within the Baltimore City public school system, first preference is always given to residents of Baltimore City. Non-city residents may be considered only after all city residents on the list have been placed. A tuition fee of approximately $10,000 per year, to be arranged through the BCPS Office of Enrollment, will apply to non-city residents.
